This remodel and addition was designed to create a warm, welcoming home that adapts seamlessly to a growing family’s needs. Located in Austin, Texas, the exterior was thoughtfully refreshed to harmoniously blend with the neighborhood’s character while introducing a contemporary edge that reflects the homeowners’ personal style. 

The goal was to reimagine the existing home into an open, connected plan that encourages gathering and togetherness while maintaining durability and simplicity for everyday family life. 

Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design principles, the interiors are rooted in clean lines, natural light, and natural materials. Wood accents and subtle mid-century modern details bring warmth and character, while the palette remains timeless and understated for long-term living.

This project embodies a balance of simplicity and functionality designed for today, but ready to evolve with the family in the years ahead.
